2017-6: Tested positive during a mandatory drug urinalysis test. (Pursuant to the grievance prcoess, the arbitrator reversed the discharge and reinstated the officer. The arbitrator believed the officer was not terminated for just and sufficient cause. The arbitrator found that although the officer tested positive for an illicit drug, the discharge penalty was unreasonable and that not enough consideration was given to the officer's claim of accident ingestion.)
